The Medical Graphics Research Group in the Department of Computer Science, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering was established in 2015 at the Thornton Science Park, and has been at the forefront of developing novel healthcare applications using Virtual Reality. This talk will consist of two case studies from this theme that involve collaboration with colleagues at the Countess of Chester Hospital. I will cover the cognitive rehabilitation of stroke patients and present the initial results. I will then give an overview of a new project that is developing an endoscopic interface for immersive virtual reality.
